GROUP GAMES AND TASKS: How do they benefit children?

Cooperation and playing together are essential activities that help children develop important social, emotional, and intellectual skills.

Games are not just entertainment—they are a great tool for learning to work in a team, solve problems, and strengthen relationships.

By playing together, children learn not only how to cooperate, but also how to respect others, trust their teammates, and achieve common goals.

Some of the most important advantages and games:

  • Social skills development

Group activities help children improve their communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills. They learn to listen to others' opinions, share ideas, and agree on decisions.

  • Emotional development

Group activities help children learn to manage their emotions, such as patience, anger, or disappointment when things don't go according to plan. It also allows them to better understand the feelings of others and respond with empathy.

  • Motivation and engagement

Group activities often encourage children to become more engaged and motivated because they want to contribute to the achievement of a common goal.

  • Understanding the importance of teamwork

Children learn that teamwork is important not only for achieving goals, but also for achieving better results than when working individually.

  • Problem-solving skills

In group games and tasks, children often face challenges that need to be solved together. This develops critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to seek solutions collectively.

  • Building self-confidence

By working in a group and achieving common goals, children feel more confident in their abilities. They learn that by working together, they can achieve more than they could on their own.

“We foster teamwork and cooperation from an early age. During group activities and games, we develop communication and social skills and learn empathy.

We often spend time working with the sensory box. Children learn to share their workspace and tools, and help each other complete tasks.

We strive to create small projects in which we aim for a common result and learn that by working together, we can create big and beautiful things.

During the morning circle, we befriend Kimochi, whom we have to pass around and hug.

This task develops empathy, patience, and teaches sharing. Children tend to communicate and cooperate during games. They read books together, play with talking cards, and invite each other to dance.

We are very happy to be able to develop our skills outdoors. We travel while holding onto the "Snake." The children willingly share space and protect their friends while walking. Being a strong and friendly team is very important to us. We learn in small steps and rejoice in every achievement.“
